Where did you get the title "Play to Risk?"
It's just a name of an indies song by a forgotten Japanese band named Luca.

How did this site come to be?
Well after working on massive fan sites I found them to become too tedious to update. The last website I worked on was back in 2006 I think. One day I woke up and just said "Fuck this" and closed it down. I then realized the only way I'd ever be able to make a site and manage to keep and maintain one is if I just made one about myself and my interests.

So what other sites did you work on?
I have quite a history when it comes to making sites. I first did a joint Janne Da Arc site back in 2000 with another person. The site was named "Stare." I translated info with my shitty Japanese skills and poorly romanized lyrics. They were so bad that the owner often had to correct them. I was still in middle school at the time while the owner was in college so you can imagine how poor our relationship was.

I was one immature shit back then. In 2001 I then decided to lerned me sum HTMLz and made sites on my own. They were of course terrible and my first site was on geocities. (LAWL) I then switched with infoseek and am still here years later! (Nope, don't want to waste money buying a domain yet!) From 2001-2004 I ran a personal site mixed in with fan sites. I can't remember all the sites of fads I made, but I do remember I made a Persona and FFX site in 2001. Also during the very same year I ran a W-inds. fansite named "Forever Memories." That was the most popular website I ever made. Yes you heard right, I once ran a boyband fansite. It was the first English fansite and I was pretty much king of the English W-inds. community back then. In 2002 I opened a Kingdom Hearts fansite, not much came out of that and during this time I killed both my Persona and FFX site.

In 2003 I stopped updating my W-inds. site. Come 2004 I decided to just kill it because I soon realized...W-inds. was just a fad. How did I not know that sooner? Y'know the most heart breaking thing about that fad was when I moved in 2006. I had all this shit and I didn't want to pack it in boxes to ship off. I had no time to find all my W-inds. merchandise a good home so I shredded all their shit. But I still have their CDs though and listen to them in secret.

Anyway in 2004 my site turned into somewhat of a personal one, not like this though. I had recommendations, reviews, and other crap I don't remember. In 2005 I decided to make an English Rose of Versailles fansite because all the RoV sites in English suck aside from this one. Go find me an English RoV site that isn't full of OMGWTFANDRE fangirlery and actually has content. My site was coming out really great and I was on the road to making probably one of the only good English RoV sites out there that wasn't raped by fangirlism. But as stated above I one day just said "fuck this, I don't want to work on this anymore" and killed it. Someone else can waste their time making a good English RoV site.

I went a year without making websites but then I of course realized that my webpage making skills went down drastically. That then lead to me making a site full of rants. Like this. Yes, another useless site on the web, who would've thought?

What does "This was originally a journal/blog entry mean?"
When I write journal entries I don't intend on showing them to the public but amongst a small group of friends. Hence the reason why they're written in a much lighter tone compared to articles I write for this site. During the time I was "siteless" I wrote a bunch of entries and I thought some were great and decided to put them here.

Can you do something about those large banners on the top of the page?
Yes bad web design, I know. But they're staying. To make it less death on the viewers eyes I put smaller banners on the pages with OMGWTF text.

What series did the pictures on the banners come from?
The majority of the banners came from Oniisama e/Dear Brother otherwise known as "Brother, dear brother." I'd say it's another unknown anime that aired back in 1992 and was based on a manga by the same author of Rose of Versailles back in the 70's. As you can tell from looking at the pictures that anime is full of fucked up teenage girls with problems.

For the other banners - the F.A.Q index is from Cromartie High, the other image is from Ranma 1/2 OVA, and the index image is from Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne III.

What about those banners in Japanese on the top and bottom of the page?
Well I'm pretty much using a free service to host my site (think GEOSHITTIEZ) so they're stuck there. Will I ever buy my own domain, webspace, and shit? Not anytime soon. Why put money down on a site no one visits? XD I'll only buy a domain once my digital painting and CG skills improve. Till then have fun with the banners!

Can we talk on (insert any instant messenger service)/How can we be penpals?/Can we meet up?
- I don't use instant messaging so I'd have to say no - sorry.
- No. But you can contact me through my myspace or if you happen to stumble across me at any forums I frequently visit.
- No.

What's the easiest way I can learn Japanese?
The easiest way I'd say is go to Japan and live there for a couple years, that's how I learned it. But I only had that opportunity due to being a military brat. Otherwise I can't give many suggestions except to take Japanese classes. Just know that there's no easy way to learning any language, it's going to take a shitload of dedication.

If you don't get a reply within a week or two that most likely means that the info was already in the site somewhere.
